On June 22, join us on this self-driven tour through Los Angeles' East Side & Downtown, then head to Dwell on Design at the Los Angeles Convention Center nearby. Drive yourself or carpool, and set your own pace—perfect for a laid-back Saturday. The (5) inland homes, condos and lofts in LA’s up-and-coming neighborhood are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Pre-purchased tickets may be picked up at the East Side & Downtown Home Tour Headquarters starting at 9:30 a.m until 12:30 p.m. Ticket pick-up is ONLY available the morning of the tour.

Located halfway up the hill on the east side of Silverlake, Tattuplex is an all-steel custom pre-fab atop a cast-in-place concrete foundation - a duplex consisting of a 1,100 sf one-bedroom unit below and a 600 sf studio with a wrap-around deck above.

H House

When Brent Nichols came across a 1962 house designed by architect Richard Banta, he immediately scooped it up. The 1,300-square-foot house, perched on a hillside in Glendale, received slight modifications over the years—a remodeled kitchen, a new hardwood floor—but the bones remained the same.

Atwater Crossing Residence

This contemporary LEED certified home is one of 28 architecturally designed homes by Charles Kluger who won AIA 2011 Design award for this one of a kind project. Nestled in the quaint little neighborhood of Atwater Village, they have become the hub of this creative community.

Patterson Residence & Colorola Studios

Built in 1929, the Beaux Arts–style Los Angeles Board of Trade Building, built by architect Claude Beelman, was the first structure on the west coast to have automated elevators. In 2008 the building became mixed-use lofts with ground-floor retail.
