Brian Singer (also known as "someguy") is the creator of The 1000 Journals Project, a global art experiment fostering collaboration among strangers. The project has spanned 40 countries and received attention from The New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Entertainment Weekly, Wall Street Journal, and Better Homes & Gardens. The project has been published in a compilation book, and been the subject of a feature-length documentary. It was recently on exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

 

Singer is also the principal of Altitude, an award-winning creative agency in San Francisco. Altitude develops programs for consumer brands that engage people through inspiration. Altitude works with folks such as Apple, Adidas, and Chronicle Books. ??He is the President of the San Francisco chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design, and has taught at both CCA Extension and Academy of Art College. Singer also serves on the advisory board of the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery, and has served on the board of directors for New Langton Arts.
