Dwell President and CEO Michela O’Connor Abrams and Marvin Windows and Doors Marketing Director Christine Marvin will explore the profile of the affluent design-centric consumer and the impact of their influence and purchasing power across all industries.
Hosted by Marvin Windows and Doors, the New Face of Affluence presentation will take a close look at the emerging trends, shifting attitudes, and changing purchase behaviors of this crucial customer base, whose design tastes are leaning toward seamless transitions between the home’s exterior and interior spaces.
The new Marvin Contemporary Studio, which is launching at Dwell on Design Los Angeles (at booth 1211), speaks directly to the affluent consumer with the Marvin Ultimate Lift and Slide door. Its narrow frame design, four-inch stile option, and industry-exclusive flush-mount hardware virtually disappear, adding visual depth to any room.
These incredibly clean and unobstructed floor-to-ceiling sliding doors offer a smooth, effortless operation and come in numerous panel configurations to accommodate a bedroom, living and dining area, live-work environment, or any other interior space homeowners wish to open up to the outdoors.
At the weekend event, Marvin will feature additional Contemporary Studio designs, such as the sophisticated sliding patio door, which implements a super-tough Ultrex® sill for the ultimate energy-efficient design, as well as the ultra-wide, elegant scenic doors.
Don’t miss the New Face of Affluence panel, which will be held on Friday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Stage A!
