The Wonderland Residence is a 3,700-sf remodel nestled in the Hollywood Hills of Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles, CA. The project required a scheme that allowed the experience for the homeowners to feel as though they live among the trees.

The bird streets is a neighborhood located in the Hollywood Hills and is one of LA's most exclusive and sought after enclaves known for its setting, stunning views and privacy. The house is envisioned as a 'black bird' perched on the hillside spreading its wing span to welcome the resident or guest.

Hsu McCullough designed a contemporary, two story infill addition that bridges the detached garage of the rear yard to the existing vintage home, adding a Great Room (open kitchen/dining/den), elevated outdoor Family Room deck (2nd floor) and Master Suite for a growing family.
Jennifer Farrell transformed a 1950s eyesore on the Los Angeles hillside into Diablo Ranch: a modern farmhouse retreat in the heart of the city. The remodeled interior, exterior, and gardens feature upcycled elements throughout, and the playful spirit of the design is evident all around, including a swing in the den and a private hiking trail.
AB Design Studio designed this home as a contemporary update for the needs of a growing, modern-day family. To increase the square footage for the clients, the architects embarked on a contemporary residential remodel and addition, converting a modest, single-story home into a captivating, light-filled, two-story residence tucked away on a narrow lot.
The Rear Window house is a discreet yet decidely modern addition+remodel to a seventy-year-old bungalow in an area full of intact dwellings of the same era. The owner’s growing family necessitated extending the master suite into the backyard, which culminates in an expansive rear bedroom window that hovers above a pool of water.
This home is a SFR that was redesigned to fit its growing family of five. It's original aesthetic of a spanish bungalow was mixed with a warm and inviting modern mix and mash of first and second stories.
